This is a question I get asked a lot. Where do my ideas come from? Honestly, I can't think of a time I never had ideas for stories rolling around my head. Even from a young age, I was crafting stories.
The Saxons series was born out of my love of brotherhood, family and bad boys with good hearts. I loved the idea of these guys going all out for their family--and not just their brothers, but their wives, girlfriends, sisters, aunts. Family is a big thing in my life, so I guess it would make sense that it would feature in my writing.
One of the things I love when writing the Saxons books is that sense of going to the edge for the ones you love and exploring just how far you would go.
Family is king. Whether it's blood or built, it's king.
And it's a theme you'll see in most of my books.
